PINELLAS

NORTHWEST TAMPA NEIGHBORHOODS

The northwest suburbs of Tampa include Dana Shores, Sweetwater Creek Bay, Westchase, Waterchase, Town ‘n’ Country, Odessa and the Memorial Highway area. This region of Tampa features easy access to Tampa International Airport, the Westshore and Memorial business districts, both International Plaza and Westshore Malls hotels and restaurants, beaches along Rocky Point as well as superior access to Tampa’s causeway bridges which lead to Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and some of Florida’s best Gulf beaches. This area is also home to Berkeley Preparatory School and Town ‘n’ Country Hospital and its medical centers.

Homes located in Dana Shores and Sweetwater Creek are typically older waterfront properties and range from moderately priced to $1,000,000 while homes in the Causeway Vista development run from $1,700,000 to over $2,000,000 and up.

Westchase and Waterchase are made up of large villages, golf courses, and town centers with great access to Carrollwood shopping and entertainment. Homes in these great family communities are usually priced from $150,000 to $1,000,000 and up depending on which village they are located in.

NORTH-NORTHEAST TAMPA NEIGHBORHOODS

Just west of Lake Magdalene and Avila you will find the popular lake communities of Old and New Carrollwood, Northdale, and Cheval. Shopping and entertainment are easily accessible with nearby Citrus Park Mall and many centers along North Dale Mabry Hwy. featuring numerous restaurants, shops, and movie theaters. Medical centers, professional offices, both local public and private schools, and sports facilities are all close by.

Cheval is known in particular for its golfing and equestrian communities.

Homes in these areas are priced in the $100,000 to multimillion dollar range.

NORTH TAMPA NEIGHBORHOODS

The north central region of Tampa is comprised of the Lake Magdalene area and Avila. Avila is known for its beautiful lakefront homes, many of which are located in a gated community on the famous Nicholson Golf Course. Homes vary from townhomes to zero lot lines in the $700,000 to $1,000,000 range to large single family homes with access to the Avila Golf and Country Club priced $5,000,000 and up.

NORTHEAST TAMPA NEIGHBORHOODS

Northeast of Tampa you will find Temple Terrace and the University of South Florida area, the Lake Community of Thonotosassa, Tampa Palms, New Tampa, and Zephyrhills as well as Saddle Brook and Lake Jovita near Dade City.

Tampa Palms is the most popular development in this area with five to six different villages with homes ranging from $200,000 to $3,000,000. The Reserves development has homes in the multimillion-dollar category which are located on a golf course with access to its fabulous clubhouse.

Just northeast of Tampa Palms is Cory Lake, another popular area near New Tampa with more moderately priced homes.

SOUTHEAST TAMPA NEIGHBORHOODS

Brandon, Valrico, Riverview, Fish Hawk, Apollo Beach, and Symphony Isles are all located southeast of Tampa. These Tampa suburbs all have their own local schools, shopping centers and malls, religious centers, restaurants, town centers, professional offices and recreational parks.

Traveling time to downtown Tampa from these areas can be 20 to 40 minutes depending on your location and at what time of day you are traveling.

Fish Hawk is near one of Tampa’s industrial districts and features a hockey training arena, professional offices and many restaurants. Homes in this area are usually very affordable ranging between $100,000 and $1,000,000.

Apollo Beach and Symphony Isles offer spectacular views of the open bay with waterfront homes starting in the mid $300,000 range.

SOUTH TAMPA NEIGHBORHOODS

Beach Park

A large area consisting of many neighborhoods including Swann Estates, Culbreath Bayou, Culbreath Isles, and the waterfront neighborhoods along Treasure, Sandpiper, Shorecrest , and Bayside Drive. Homes start in $500,000’s up to the multi-millions for open bay estates.

Downtown and Channelside

Tampa’s business center with residential condominiums and rental apartments starting at $300,000 up to the multi-millions.

Harbour Island

Gated community featuring, condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes. Starting in $300,000’s. Waterfront estates up to multi millions. Hotels, restaurants and offices are the front of the island.

Davis Island

Across from Harbour Island with its own community of city parks, retail, restaurants, and marina. Condominiums and townhomes ranging from $300,000 to $1,200,000. Single family tear down homes ranging from $500,000 to the multi millions for open bay waterfront estates.

Hyde Park

Hyde Park is just southwest of downtown and features a high concentration of Tampa’s historic bungalow homes. These homes span from “fixer-uppers” in the $700,000 to $800,000 range to larger restored homes in the $1,100,000 to $4,000,000 range.

As Hyde Park is within the same school districts as Harbour Island and Davis Island, this area has access to some of the best public and private schools in Tampa. This is a great walkable neighborhood, with great parks, and even a full shopping and professional district known as Hyde Park Village.

New Suburb

An urban neighborhood with suburban charm. Within walking distance to Howard Avenue restaurants and Bayshore Boulevard. Townhomes and single-family homes ranging from $500,000 – $1,400,000.

Parkland Estates

Neighboring New Suburb, a short walk to Howard Avenue. Homes on large lots ranging from $950,000- $2,500.000.

Golfview

One of Tampa’s oldest neighborhoods with brick-lined streets surrounding the Palma Ceia Country Club’s golf course. Homes start at $700,000 to $3,000,000 with special properties exceeding $4,000,000 or more.

Sunset Park

Features tree-lined streets with some larger lots and streets that dead end to the open bay. Homes range from $600,000-$2,000,000 with open bay estates above $2,000,000.

Palma Ceia

Surrounds New Suburb and Golfview and extends south with homes starting in the $400,000 up to $2,500,000. Close to retail shops and restaurants along MacDill and Bay to Bay.

Bayshore Boulevard

The longest waterfront sidewalk in the nation. Fabulous water views. Condominiums and townhomes ranging from $300,000-$3,000,000 and up. Some penthouses up to $6,000,000 or more.

Single family homes from $1,000,000 to the multi millions.

Ballast Point Interbay

The southeastern tip of South Tampa bordering South Bayshore Blvd. Condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes from $300,000-$2,000,000 and up.

South Westshore

Up and coming neighborhood with the Westshore Yacht Club being the largest development. Featuring townhomes, condominiums, and single-family homes from $300,000-$3,000,000 and up.
